Holidays overseas have to be adapted to the schedule where you are,
And while many Americans do celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday,
We have had visitors from Hattiesburg, MS the last two years Thanksgiving Week,
So we have made a tradition of going to Darjeeling on Thanksgiving Day.
Last year, the skies were clear and the mountains were in view.
This year... Not so much.
A little chilly. A lot foggy.
But still fun.
We delayed our Thanksgiving Chicken until Friday night,
With as many Americanish dishes as we could prepare with what we had.
And our friends from Hattiesburg helped us with the unenviable task of fluffing out the Christmas Tree
And Duck-Taping the top of the tree on!
That's the way of life out here, where you're thousands of miles away from Wal-Mart.
