Although most of the people in the US know where the Easter Holiday originated, even if they are not Christians, in a land where Christianity is foreign to most people, the idea of Jesus being God Incarnate, of His dying on the Cross for the sins of the world, and of His showing God's power by rising again three days later is a foreign concept.
On Good Friday, Kristie and Rebekah had the opportunity to go to a village nearby our home here in South Asia to share the meaning of Easter with a group of children and ladies that have no idea what Good Friday or Easter Sunday means to Christians.
Along with a craft about the Empty Tomb, Kristie was able to share in their language the reason Easter is so important to Christians. His conquering of death on Easter Sunday is the culmination of the Gospel.
Yet so many have never heard.
