We have been able to share with many people since our time here in South Asia that the events Christians celebrate on Easter are the most important aspects of the Christian life, since without them the Gospel is not good news at all.

But on Easter Sunday this year, we tried to make the holiday seem a little bit "American" in the traditions at home and church.

We were woken early by a three-year-old asking "What those eggs were all over the house?", and we let her find her candy filled eggs and search through her impressive Easter Basket.

Then we got dressed up for church and had a great time celebrating the Resurrection, even if we did not understand everything being said and sung.
