Ponies!!! (Everything is Smaller in Darjeeling)

Darjeeling is one of the "hill stations" here in South Asia, which basically means the city was built on a hill, so there are a lot of ups and downs and a lot of cramped spaces. We realized this when we got into our hotel room (up about 7 flights of stairs) and Rebekah was almost as tall as the door...

and James kept bumping his head on the bathroom ceiling.

Rebekah begged us to ride the horses in the town square, which were also smaller than normal horses. Rebekah informed us we were too big to ride them, and that she could ride them for herself. So the first day she rode Jesse,

and the second day she was an expert as she rode Sweetie. We told you we were totally tourists this trip!
