Easter in Tennessee
Easter usually means we're traveling, and this year was no different. We made our way up to Tennessee for the Easter Weekend to see some of Kristie's family.
Taking Rebekah out of school a couple days early meant she missed the Easter Egg Hunt in Hattiesburg, so we searched and searched until we found out where in Martin the Easter Bunny was going to be that weekend.
Despite the look on her face here, Rebekah was excited to see the Easter Bunny. There were just other exciting things to do at this Easter Carnival.
We ate some hot dogs and popcorn, drank some Kool-Aid, and got our face painted.
And of course Rebekah found the only "jumpy slide" operating in Martin that weekend.
The afternoon concluded with Rebekah dominating the Easter Egg Hunt (we'd practiced). We even somehow missed the 1- and 2-year-old hunt, so we participated in the 3- and 4-year-old hunt. The excitement of the 19 candy eggs Rebekah found was almost more than she could handle.
