We've really been spoiled as parents. Despite the doctors' requests that we wake her up every 3 hours to feed her during her first few months of life (advice we rarely followed), Rebekah would drift off to sleep each evening and stay asleep at least until 5 or 6 AM. Teething and ear infections have recently made her waking during the night happen a little bit, but I'm not sure we'd have survived if she would have been as nocturnal as so many babies we've heard of.
Here is a little video of her drifting off to sleep.

You know your baby is growing too fast when you start planning the first birthday party. If we don't plan, will she stay young?
Rebekah is standing on her own (with no hands) for short periods of time, dealing with her four top teeth (all in different stages of appearance) like a champ, getting wherever she wants to go, climbing, mimicking sounds we make and actions we perform...
Seriously, can you make them stay small? Below is how Rebekah and her bear wanted to ring in the new year on December 31st.
And how she actually celebrated.
